Daniel Rudolf studied chemistry at Heidelberg University and obtained his doctorate from its Institute of Inorganic Chemistry with his thesis on guanidinate-stabilized gallium hydrides. He is also a certified data scientist specialized in data management (Fraunhofer FIT). He is particularly interested in the latest developments in academic publication and bibliometrics and in the digitalization of research.

Ariane Larrat studied German, French, and Literary and Cultural Studies at the Universities of Tübingen and Rennes, followed by a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at Cologne University of Applied Sciences. After completing her studies, she worked in scholarly publishing and for the Specialized Information Service for German Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt. Her particular interest in the field of Open Access lies in strengthening scholar-led publishing and promoting Open Access in the humanities and social sciences. At the Open Access Service Center, she is responsible for further developing the publication funds and the University of Bonn’s Open Access strategy, managing OA transformative agreements, monitoring publication costs, and expanding publication services.

Maria Safenreiter studied Art at Bauhaus University Weimar as well as French and Educational Sciences at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, where she also earned her PhD in French Literary Studies. After completing the library traineeship program of the State of Lower Saxony and a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at Humboldt University of Berlin, she worked as subject librarian for the humanities at the University and State Library of Saxony-Anhalt. Her particular interest in the field of Open Access lies in promoting the Open Access transformation in print-oriented text disciplines and in exploring openness as a perspective for developing an Open Access culture at universities. At the Open Access Service Center, she contributes to the further development and communication of publication services.
